Awwal 14, 1432, April 18, 2011, SPA -- Four Pakistani soldiers were injured this morning in a bomb attack that targeted a military vehicle in north-western tribal region bordering Afghanistan. Government sources indicated that the attack occurred on the road connecting the city of Taanj inhabited by Al-Shaabah clan and Wanaa city - the provincial capital of South Waziristan tribal region, where insurgents had planted a roadside bomb and blew it up with the help of the remote control during the passage of the military vehicle. The sources added that the injured soldiers were taken to a hospital in Taanj city. Meanwhile, the security forces have cordoned off the blast site and launched a swift search mission to nab the gunmen who fled the site of the attack.
