Awwal 02, 1432, April 06, 2011, SPA -- A two-day session of the Saudi-Lebanese Business Council will start its activities in Beirut tomorrow under the chairmanship of Saleh Kamel, President of the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the participation of 200 businessmen from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lebanon. The four-sessions' program of the Saudi-Lebanese Business Council will focus on several topics including the current economic realities, their prospects and impact on the investment environment; areas of bilateral cooperation in diverse economic sectors, especially industry, trade, construction, transport, trade, financial services and banking as well as real estate markets, education, health services and tourism in Lebanon. The volume of Saudi investments in Lebanon amounts to about SR 16 billion, representing 40% of total Arab investments, while the volume of trade exchanges between the two countries amounts to SR 2.311 billion.
