Akhir 29, 1432, April 03, 2011, SPA -- The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, organized more than 90 lectures in varied areas of digital dissemination of culture and knowledge during the last four months, which benefitted more than 36,000 participants including 34,000 students. These lectures will continue until the end of the School's current academic year so as to cover all parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry is seeking the representation of the Secretariat of the National Plan for Communications and Information Technology to disseminate culture and knowledge of digital communications, information technology, to enable the society to deal with the media effectively, and to bridge the digital divide between members of the community as one of the objectives of the National Plan for Communications and Information Technology. The initiative was launched at the beginning of the academic year 1431/1432 AH in order to spread and promote the importance of the use of telecommunications and information technology to community members in various categories and levels of education in coordination with the Ministry of Education and the relevant governmental agencies for the implementation of the project.
