Akhir 23, 1432 / March 28, 2011, SPA -- Speaker of the Romanian Senate Mircha Juana hailed here today the level of distinct relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Romania, pointing that these relations are increasingly consolidating since officials of the two sides began reciprocal visits. This came during a meeting with visiting Speaker of Majlis Al-Shoura Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Asheikh to Romania. At the beginning of the joint talks held here today between the Saudi and Romanain chambers, Juana underscored the importance of the visit of Al-Shoura delegation in laying down the perspectives for bilateral parliamentary cooperation. He also asserted his country's willingness for further development in their cooperation relations at the economic and parliamentary arenas. At the same time, he lauded the balanced stands of the Kingdom towards issues of the region. For his part, Al Asheikh expressed gratitude at the great role played by both the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the President of Romania to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries. The visit of Al-Shoura delegation to Romania falls in line with Saudi continuous approach to open up to different countries all over the world, in order to serve its people, Arab and Muslim interests, he concluded. -- SPA
