Akhir 22, 1432, March 27, 2011, SPA -- The Governor of Saudi Standards and Quality Organization (SSQO) Nabil bin Amin Mulla has stressed that the Organization is seeking to unite Arab standard specifications in support of efforts for the establishment of an Arab free trade zone. In a speech on the occasion of celebrating Arab Standards Day, which annually falls on March 25th, Mulla has pointed out that the Organization has adopted the largest possible numbers of international standard specifications and has issued more than 21,600 Saudi standard specifications in various fields. "Moreover, the Organization has signed programs of mutual recognition of conformity certificates and quality marks with 14 countries and 6 major international companies," he said.
