Akhir 17, 1432 / March 22, 2011, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace here today a number of princes; the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the President of the Presidency for Scholastic Research and Religious Edicts (Dar Al-Ifta) and Scholars Council Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh; a number of Ulema and sheikhs; Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdulrahman Al-Attiyah; a number of ministers and senior officials; dignitaries of Riyadh, Hail, Asir and Baha Regions; a delegation of the Ministry of Education; Chairman and members of Board of Directors of Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and a group of citizens who came to greet the King. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques delivered the following speech: "In the name of Allah, the merciful, the compassionate, My brothers and sons, Thank you all, and I wish all of you success; I thank each and every one of you I have seen or shaken hands with. Unfortunately, I could not stand-up, but in few days or months, Allah Almighty willing, I will. My brothers, Since the scholarly Sheikhs are present, I have a word or two to say; these are meant for all the people. Brothers, I am called the 'sovereign of hearts,' or the 'king of humane compassion,' I do plead that you spare me such titles. The sovereign king is Allah, and we are all the worshippers of Allah the most exalted. I therefore beg that I be saved such titles. Thank you brothers." --More
