Dr. Al-Assaf Receives U.S. Undersecretary of State for Economic Affairs

Akhir 14, 1432, March 19, 2011, SPA-- The Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf received here today, U.S. Undersecretary of State for Economic, Energy and Agricultural Affairs Robert Hormats, who is currently visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in Jeddah Economic Forum.
During the meeting, Hormats congratulated the Kingdom on the ambitious economic decisions taken by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud for the improvement of the standards of living and prosperity for various sectors of the Saudi society.
They also discussed aspects of economic relations between the two countries and the economic situations in the region.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Dr. Hamad Al-Bazai and U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom James B. Smith.
