Akhir 11, 1432 / March 16, 2011, SPA -- Jordan's outstanding public debt rose by 18.6 percent in 2010, Jordan News Agency (Petra) quoted figures published by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday. The figures showed that the outstanding external and internal public debt in 2010 stood at JD11,463 million compared to JD9,660 million in 2009. The net internal public debt also rose by 18.3 percent to JD6,852 million compared to JD5,791 million in the same period. According to the figures, the net external public debt also rose by 19.1 percent standing at JD4,611 million compared to JD3,869 million.
