Akhir 1432 / 14 March 2011, SPA -- The United Nations human rights office urged the international community on Monday to move quickly to protect Libyan civilians from violence at the hands of Muammar Gaddafi's advancing forces, Reuters repoted. The appeal was issued in Geneva by the deputy to U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, currently in West Africa, as major powers squabbled over whether to impose a no-fly over Libya.
