Akhir 01, 1432 H/March 6, 2011, SPA -- Pakistani Consul General in Jeddah Abdulsalik Khan underlines here today the strong relations binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in all fields, particularly in economic interests, trade exchange and serving the interests of businessmen in the two countries. During a meeting with Mazen Mohammed Batarji, Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry at its headquarters here today, Khan expressed satisfaction at the bilateral trade exchange volume at almost SR 17.9 Billion, last year. Saudi exports to Pakistan constitute 79 per cent of their trade balance while the total surplus in the trade balance poised to Saudi side at 73.5 per cent, due to Saudi oil and oil products exports which make 90 per cent of total Saudi exports to Pakistan. -- SPA
