Saudi Market the Biggest US Commercial Partner-Cohen

Former US Secretary of Defense William Cohen pointed out here today that the Saudi market is the biggest regional partner to US which in turn has become a leading importing world market for Saudi oil.
During a meeting held with the Vice Chairman of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mazin Batarji, Cohen lauded the profound Saudi-American relations.
On his part, Batarji said there are 357 American enterprises in the Kingdom with total investment of SR83 billions, mainly in industrial sector and that American investments constitute 26 per cent of foreign joint ventures in the Kingdom; thus they are they are the biggest foreign investors in the Saudi market.
