Awwal 29, 1432 H/March 4, 2011, SPA -- Egyptians will vote on proposed constitutional amendments in a national referendum on March 19, the cabinet said Friday, according to dpa. The amendments have been proposed on seven articles, as well as abolishing Article 179 that deals with anti-terrorism, the cabinet said on its official Facebook page. The judicial committee, formed by the armed forces that runs the country, proposed it would reduce the presidential term, impose a two-term limit and expand the definition of who can run for the presidency. -- SPA
