Awwal 26, 1432, March 01, 2011, SPA -- Secretary General of the Cooperation Council For the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah received here today the Ambassador of Australia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Kevin Magee. During the meeting, they reviewed ways of bolstering relations between the GCC States and Australia in all fields and aspects of cooperation in the economic, commercial, educational, environmental and technical fields. In addition, the meeting dealt with the on-going negotiations between the GCC and Australia in order to reach a free trade agreement between the two sides. It also covered in-depth discussions on preparations undertaken by the GCC General Secretariat for the establishment of the first round of strategic dialogue between the GCC States and Australia, which includes aspects of political, security, economic, educational, health and other fields. The GCC is comprised of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
