Awwal 25, 1432 H/Feb 28, 2011, SPA -- The preparatory committee for the Saudi Qatari Coordination Council held a meeting in Riyadh today. Dr. Nizar bin Obeid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, led the Saudi side in the committee while Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Member of the Qatari Cabinet, led his country's side. The meeting endorsed the drafted agenda for the Council's forthcoming meeting, reviewed matters of mutual concern and discussed ways of promoting cooperation between the two countries in all fields, particularly the industrial, economic, financial and commercial fields. For his part, Al Mahmoud expressed appreciation and gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality accorded to his delegation by the host side.
