Awwal 25, 1432 H/Feb 28, 2011, SPA -- A Saudi - U.S. military joint exercise between the Saudi armed forces and a symbolic group from the U.S. friendly armed personnel which was held in the southern region concluded today. Deputy Chief of Staff General Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Gubail, Commander of the air forces General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Ayesh and the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom James Smith attended the closing show of the exercise slugged "friendship II". Addressing the gathering, Commander of the southern Region Major General Ali Zaid Khawaji said joint exercises help upgrade the preparedness of the army, noting that today's show once again confirmed the firmness of relations binding the Kingdom with the United States of America.
