Awwal 23, 1432, Feb 26, 2011, SPA -- The Minister of Finance, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, for the issuance of royal decrees in the service of citizens whether they are in public or private sectors. In a television interview, Dr. Al-Assaf said that the decrees focused on the poor, needy and unemployed people, housing sector and support for Real Estate Development Fund and Saving and Credit Bank. He noted that increasing the support for the Real Estate Fund by an amount of SR 40 billion and exemption from two installments yearly and exemption of the deceased from loans, the amount totaled SR 60 billion. Dr. Al-Assaf pointed out that Saving and Credit Bank has provided loans amounting to SR 31 billion since its inception, and the new support in the royal decree equals the same amount. He indicated that support for social insurance reached about SR 20 billion.
