Awwal 18, Feb 21, 2011, SPA -- Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Ahmad Zaynal Ali Reza met here today Japanese Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Yoshikatsu Nakyama. During the meeting, they discussed trade and industrial relations between the two friendly countries and means of their enhancement. They also explored means of taking advantages from the available opportunities and incentives and ways of promoting trade and industrial cooperation to encourage the private sector in both countries. The meeting was attended by the Deputy of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Foreign Trade Abdullah Al-Hammoudi. In 2009, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries reached SR 136, 098 million. Out of this amount, the value of exports accounted for SR 108, 956 million and the value of imports amounted to SR 27, 142 million.
