Gunmen, Police Exchange Fire in A Commercial Complex in Afghan Province

Awwal 16, 1432, Feb 19, 2011, SPA -- Afghan officials said that unknown gunmen seized a commercial complex in Ninjhar Province in eastern Afghanistan today, and this led to an exchange of fire with police.
The provincial governor's spokesman Ahmad Zia said the gunmen seized the area of Kamran Plaza in downtown Jalalabad, the provincial capital.
"The police cordoned off the building and there was an exchange of fire," he added.
