Awwal 07, 1432, Feb 10, 2011, SPA -- Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirmed that the Saudi Moroccan Joint Committee for Bilateral Cooperation, has made great strides towards the joint investment through inserting the private sector on its agenda, describing that as correct and beneficial approach. In a joint press conference with Altayeb Al-Fasi Al-Fihri, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, Prince Saud Al-Faisal said the private sector represents a basic pillar for development. In response to a question on the situation in Egypt and a wave of protests in some Arab countries, Prince Saud Al-Faisal expressed surprise on a notion that those protests were triggered by foreign hands, saying that "we could always distinguish between what is imported and what is real". What reflects the internal situation should be considered an internal affair in which we never interfere", he added. He expressed the hope of the Kingdom that Egyptians should be left to themselves to solve their problems by themselves, confirming that "they are eligible to". On the Saharan issue, he said Saudi Arabia was closely following the developments of that issue, regretting that it has pushed the Moroccan Algerian relations to a far low and hoping that "this problem could find its way to solution".
