Awwal 04, 1432, Feb 07, 2011, SPA -- The foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan met in Bhutan for the first high-level talks in more than six months. India's Nirupama Rao met with her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir on the margins of a South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meeting in Thimphu Sunday night. "The foreign secretaries had useful and frank discussions," India's External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vishnu Prakash said. "They agreed on the need for a constructive dialogue between India and Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues. They affirmed the need to carry forward the dialogue process."
