The Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan met at the nuclear security summit in Washington, news reports said Tuesday. Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani spoke to his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh at a reception on Monday hosted by US President Barack Obama, the IANS news agency reported. Leaders and officials from 47 countries are attending the two-day summit, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA". Indian and Pakistani Foreign Ministry officials said it was not a formal meeting. India's Foreign Ministry spokesman Vishnu Prakash said the leaders "exchanged pleasantries" but he declined to disclose any details of the meeting. Indian media outlets said a bilateral meeting between Singh and Gilani was expected on the margins of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit to be held in Bhutan from April 26.
