Prince Naif Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior chaired here on Sunday evening a meeting of the Ministerial Committee Concerned with Implementation of the Directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Deputy Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud on addressing the situation in Jeddah that resulted from recent heavy rainfall, leading to great losses and serious damages in Jeddah Governorate. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Naif stressed the great responsibility shouldered by this Committee to implement urgently the directives of the King and Deputy King through the provision of all the necessary reinforcements to reduce the damages, to provide aid and assistance to victims, and to compensate their heavy losses. The Prince noted that the Committee comprising of high ranking officials will be working on a fact-finding mission, to identify closely the aspects of negligence and defaults to prevent the recurrence of damages to people and their properties, and to identify the negligent people in the performance of their duties to be punished. --MORE
