Jeddah Mayoralty has used over 100 pumps and 110 tanker trucks since the cessation of rainfall to pump clear stagnant pools of water. Twenty pumps and 22 tankers were used to remove all the water from main streets in the Prince Fawaz District and drain it into the southern floodwater channel. Two pumps and 20 tankers were used to clear Jak Street in Quwaizah and Al-Adl Road was handled with 12 pumps and 18 tanker trucks. In Al-Khumrah District, Al-Sawareekh markets and the Al-Bahariah Road, 30 tanker trucks and 28 pumps started work early Wednesday. Twelve pumps and 20 tanker trucks were employed at Kilo 14 and Briman streets were cleared with 18 pumps and taken away to be drained into the northern floodwater channel.
