Baroness Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy today called for peace and calm in Lebanon. In a statement issued here this morning, she said "I am concerned about the violent protests that broke out and I call on all parties to show restraint and to cooperate in a spirit of dialogue."
