Jordan will participate in a scientific forum entitled "The Role of Internet Houses in the Fight Against Terrorism and Extremism," which is scheduled to start its two-day deliberations tomorrow in Riyadh. Under the patronage of Prince Mohammed Ibn Naif Ibn Abdulaziz, Saudi Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, the Forum is being organized by Naif Arab University of Security Sciences (NAUSS) in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Interior, a team of the United Nations for Fighting Terrorism, the International Center for Counter-Terrorism in the United States of America, and the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A press release issued here today said the Forum is aimed at achieving a number of objectives including: an increased awareness of the seriousness of the Arab and international passive use of the Internet in the field of terrorism and extremism.
