Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Saturday met with the visiting French Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Michel Alliot-Marie, as part of the importance of discussion to revive the peace process in the Middle East. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the region and ways to advance the peace process in the Middle East and the current developments in Lebanon following the resignation of the Government of Saad Al-Hariri. They also reviewed the latest situations in Iraq and Sudan as well as ways to expand varied avenues of cooperation between the two countries and revitalize the Union for the Mediterranean.
