President of Saudi Human Rights Commission Dr. Bandar bin Mohammad Al-Ayban received here today visiting Speaker of Canadian Senate Noël Kinsella and accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Ayban drew the attention to the efforts exerted by Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at regional and international arenas to promote peace, security and human rights protection. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques initiative for dialogue among followers of different faiths and civilizations has contributed to consolidating the culture of dialogue among various peoples in the world, and it will assist in achieving well being, peace and dignified life for all peoples, he said. During the meeting, they discussed means to promote bilateral Saudi-Canadian relations in human rights field, in addition to discussing Canada-based Saudi students matters. For his part, the Canadian Speaker expressed pleasure of visiting the cradle of Islam, noting the renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields. He expressed gratitude to the huge efforts exerted by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his continuous keenness towards achieving stability and security for the peoples of the world, citing his humanitarian initiative for dialogue among followers of different religions, cultures and civilizations. -- SPA
