The GCC Committee of Banking Institutes and Colleges will hold tomorrow its 26th Meeting in Doha - the Qatari capital. During its two-day deliberations, the Committee will discuss arrangements for the 2nd annual symposium for Banking Institutes and Colleges entitled "Training Strategies," which is being organized by the Kuwait Institute of Banking. The meeting will also deal with the experiences and advances in the sphere of specialized training in the Banking Institutes and Colleges. It will also review the annual reports of the level and standards of activities of Banking Institutes and Colleges in 2010, and the results of the 8th workshop for those working in these Banking Institutes and Colleges. The results of a meeting of Directors and Deans of Banking Colleges and Institutes in the GCC States, which will be organized in October 2011, will also come up for in-depth discussions. The Council of Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) is comprised of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
