Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani has underlined the strength and excellence of the Qatari -Turkish relations, and described them as "strategic" and based on mutual respect, friendship and common interests. In a joint press conference with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, following official talks Tuesday evening, Sheikh Hamad said that the Qatari - Turkish relations are distinguished. He also pointed to remarkable interests that have been shown by Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to foster and develop these relations in order to serve the two countries' peoples. Sheikh Hamad said his talks with the Turkish Prime Minister addressed three key issues including economic relations, the Palestinian issue, reconciliation and the situation in Lebanon. --MORE
