A consignment of powerful explosives was recovered Saturday by a joint team of the army and police from a bus at Bokulia Karbi in Anglong district of north-eastern Indian state of Assam. The explosives were found packed in a school bag and kept in the bus and was to be delivered to Karbi Longri National Liberation Front (KLNLF anti-talk) faction, PTI quoted defence sources as saying. One kg of powerful explosives, three electronic detonators and five safety fuses were recovered, they said. Acting on a tip off, troops of 5th Battalion (Napier's) of Rajputana Rifles and police intercepted the bus by setting up a vehicle check-post at Bokulia and recovered the powerful explosives while it was being taken from Hojai in Nagaon district to Diphu in Karbi Anglong district, the sources added.
