Kamchatsky, Muharram 21, 1432 / Dec. 27, 2010, SPA -- Two people were reported missing at a mountain pass of the Avachinsky volcano in Kamchatka. The search operation for them was launched. The fate of the missing people is unclear yet. A young man and a young woman were driving a snowmobile to the Alpika tourism base in the afternoon on December 24, the press service of the EMERCOM main department in the Kamchatka Territory told Itar-Tass on Monday. The phone connection is lost with them. In the evening on the same day the search for the missing people was launched, but neither people, nor a snowmobile, nor snowmobile traces were found yet. The rescuers and volunteers continue the search operation.
