The floor ceiling of a technology park under construction caved in at the Novosibirsk academic township. Four workers were hospitalized with various injuries, the main EMERCOM department in the Novosibirsk region said today. "The accident occurred on Sunday evening at the concrete reinforcement stage of the ceiling between the first and second floors. The ceiling caved in on the area of 288 square meters," Itar-Tass quoted spokeswoman of the EMERCOM department Natalia Fyodorova as saying. A 35-year-old injured man is in gave condition with a spine fracture and a breast injury. Other two workers sustained insignificant injuries, they will undergo outpatient treatment. The fourth worker left the hospital not waiting for the diagnosis. "All injured workers were drunk at the moment of the ceiling collapse," Fyodorova said. The rescuers conducted a search operation with dog handlers, other injured people were not found. The ceiling collapse accident is under investigation.
