Indian Defence Secretary Starts Sri Lanka Visit

Indian Defence Secretary Pradeep Kumar arrived here today on a three-day official visit to Sri Lanka.
He will have talks with Sri Lanka's top leadership on means of strengthening cooperation in the field of defence.
Kumar is expected to hold talks with President Mahinda Rajapaksa, External Affairs minister G L Peiris, Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapksha during his stay in Sri Lanka, a diplomatic official told The Press Trust of India (PTI).
