King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) signed recently a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost the mutual cooperation in scientific and professional practicing for enhancing the professional standards of engineers. University President Dr. Khalid S. Al-Sultan represented KFUPM while Chair of Board of Directors, Eng. Abdullah Ahmad Baqshan represented the Council in the official ceremony of signing the MoU. SCE Secretary General Gazi Al-Ahmadi pointed to the aim of this understanding which will create mutual benefits for the two parties and will enable them to exchange experience & information in many fields such as planning the Engineering Education future in the Kingdom, identifying required majors, supporting engineers' professional accreditation program, discussing KFUPM membership in professional councils, discussing the participation of SCE in the membership of Engineering Scientific Councils, participation in preparing engineering students to pass The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, promoting the Continuous Development and Training programs, etc. --MORE
