Construction on what will be the world's third tallest building started in central China's Wuhan City, capital of Hubei Province, a spokesman for the developer said Friday. The skyscraper will be 606 meters tall when construction finishes in five years, according to a report of Qatar News Agency (QNA). The developer, Shanghai Greenland Group, has invested about 30 billion Yuan (about $4.5 billion) in the project. The building, named the Wuhan Greenland Center, will have luxury hotels, apartments and a conference center inside. The world's tallest building is the 828-meter high Dubai Tower in the United Arab Emirates. The 632-meter high Shanghai Tower will be the world's second tallest building when construction on it finishes in 2014.
