Pakistan, Afghanistan and Turkey on Friday signed a number of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Protocols in various fields during the 5th Trilateral Summit. Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Interior Minister Rehman Malik and Pakistan's Ambassador in Turkey Tariq Azizuddin and their Afghan and Turkish counterparts signed the MoUs and Protocols on behalf of their respective countries, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported. According to the list of documents, the three countries signed a Protocol on the “Establishment of Direct Audio-Video Conference Communication Line” between Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan, MoU on Disaster Management between Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan, Letter of Intent on Media Cooperation, Protocol on the Establishment of a Trilateral Police Cooperation Programme in particular on Combating Drugs Trafficking between Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan and Protocol on the Organization of Exhibitions regarding Cultural partnership between Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
