Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, Saudi Minister of Health, has briefed U.S. University of Cornell professors and doctors at the university's educational hospital on his 20-year-long Siamese separation surgeries. During a lecture which was held at the university yesterday, Dr. Al-Rabee'a attributed the achievement to the vast support rendered by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for this state-of-the-art surgery. He disclosed that so far the Saudi National Guard hospital in Riyadh has performed 28 operations, all successful, out of 62 applications from 16 countries. During the lecture, the floor saw a film showing the king offering good wishes to Siamese patients before and after surgeries. The viewers lauded the humanity of the monarch and praised his prudent administration in the service of needy people all over the world. Later, Al-Rabee'a met with trainee doctors for two hours and answered their questions.
