On behalf of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Al-Anqari opened here Sunday the first World Conference on Saudi Arabian Efforts to Solve Issues of Muslims. The event has been organized by Madinah Islamic University in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (KAFRA). More than 100 researchers from 35 countries are participating in the three-day conference, which aims to highlight the services offered by the Kingdom for the Muslim world. The conference will focus on the Kingdom's service to the two holy mosques, its achievements in the propagation of Islam and construction of mosques and academic centers, in addition to its contribution to economic development in the Muslim world and its relief efforts for people hit by calamities, President of Madinah Islamic University Muhammad Al-Oqla said in his address. --MORE
