Three little children were killed in a fire in their southern Ohio mobile home, authorities said Sunday. The call came in at 10:41 p.m. Saturday from Wheelersburg, in Scioto County on the Ohio River, UPI reported. The children were trapped in the burning home, and their father and another person were injured trying to save them. Intense heat and flames frustrated repeated rescue efforts. The cause of the fire will be released pending autopsy results. No smoke alarms were found in the home, according to investigators. There have been 25 fire-related deaths of children 18 and under in Ohio this year.
