The General Assembly of Islamic States Broadcasting (Radio and Television) Union will hold its first meeting in Jeddah on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhaydin Khoja, who is also President of the Union's Executive Council. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Council's Member, Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser, has said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosts the headquarters of the Union as well as the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), noting that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy King and the Second Deputy Premier, have given attention to joint Islamic information actions and provided support for Islamic information institutions.
