Saudi female doctor decorated with King Abdulaziz Medal

Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is also the Commander-in-chief of all armed forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, today decorated Dr. Consultant Arwa bint Ali Al-Sayed with King Abdulaziz Medal (Class One) in recognition of her efforts that garnered a new scientific achievement, unveiling the defect in the gene causing pyorrhea.
Dr. Arwa made the breakthrough during a research she was conducting on kidney implantation patients in the Armed Forces hospital in Riyadh.
