The Asian Development Bank has approved a $1.1 billion finance package for two major transportation projects that will help ease traffic gridlock in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam's southern commercial hub, the bank said Tuesday. The ADB said it will provide a $540 million loan for a $1.4 billion urban mass transit line and an additional $636 million loan for a $1.6 billion expressway project to the south of the city, according to a report of the Associated Press.
