New ADEC Members Take Oath Before UAE President

New members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council (ADEC) were sworn in today at Al Rawda Palace in Al Ain before
President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi and in the presence of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the ADEC.
Sheikh Khalifa urged the new ADEC members to maximize their efforts
in the service of the homeland in pursuit of the progress and prosperity
march, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported.
He also directed them to keep abreast of the latest developments the world is
witnessing and preserve values and principles which ''our State is based on
and which had earned it the present prestigious standing among the countries of
the world''.
