Governor of the Kuwaiti district of Al-Ahmadi, Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Duaij Al-Sabah ended on Saturday a five-day official and fruitful visit to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. The visit resulted in signing a Memo of Understanding (MoU) between the Governorate of Ahmadi and Ho Chi Minh City, said the governor, who had met a number of officials to push interaction and discussed issues of common interest. The Al-Ahmadi Governor praised the noticeable development in Ho Chi Minh City, namely in the investment, economic and commercial fields, thus attracting interest of great economic countries, also lured by its economic stability and security. Sheikh Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to Ho chi Minh city Governor for expressing keenness and interest for promoting joint cooperation between the two countries, adding that he had also delivered an invitation to the Governor to visit Kuwait. He also praised the efforts of Kuwait's Consul General in the Vietnamese city of Ho Chi Minh, Najeeb Al-Bader, for enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, according to a report of KUNA.
