Lebanese President Michel Suleiman, opened here today the 9th annual Conference of the Arab Thought Foundation "Thought-9" in the presence of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Province, who is also the Foundation's President. Addressing the Conference, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal said that as Arab Thought Foundation has been keeping abreast of Arab and Muslim interests in dialogue between cultures and followers of religions, which was adopted and launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Foundation believes in the wisdom of openness to the cultures of the world, seeks to promote objective dialogue with them, and builds many partnerships for the benefit of all peoples. The Prince added, "We seek for the prevalence of the culture of work so that peace based on justice, equality and cooperation prevails all over the world in replacement for conflicts that wipe out human energies and threaten global peace''. The opening ceremony was attended by Speaker of Lebanese House of Representatives Nabih Berri; Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri; Prince Bandar Ibn Khalid Al-Faisal; Prince Sultan Ibn Khalid Al-Faisal; Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Ali bin Saeed Awwadh Asiri; and a number of Lebanese ministers and officials.
