Bahrain's Interior Minister Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa met here yesterday British Homeland Security Minister Pauline Neville Jones and discussed means of coordinating security affairs by setting up a specialized committee in charge of consolidating bilateral relations. Sheikh Rashid also met, separately, the Leader of the British House of Lords, Lord Thomas Strathclyde and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster Nigel Evans, also MP and Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons. He stressed Bahrain's strides in backing reform programmes, consolidating democracy and protecting the rule of the law, according to a report of Bahrain's News Agency (BNA).
