Hijjah 28 1431, Dec 04, 2010, SPA -- King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), has established three Technological Invention Centers at a cost of more than SR 150 million within a program of the National Plan for Science, Technology and Invention. These Centers, to be hosted in Saudi Universities, have goals of promoting cooperation with the industrial sector. KACST's President, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel, stressed that these centers focus on researches dealing with industry through the formation of multi-specialization research teams consisting of university professors, students of higher studies, engineers and scientists from industrial companies participating in these researches. These centers will be established at King Abdulaziz University, King Saud University, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, he said. --MORE
