RIYADH: King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has established three Technological Invention Centers at a cost of more than SR 150 million as part of the National Plan for Science, Technology and Invention. The centers, to be hosted in Saudi universities, have the goal of promoting cooperation with the industrial sector. KACST's President, Dr. Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel, stressed that the centers focus on research dealing with industry through the formation of multi-specialization research teams. The three centers will be established at King Abdulaziz University, King Saud University and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, he said.
