OANA General Assembly continues meetings

Hijjah, 1431/ 26 November 2010, SPA -- The Chairman of the Organization of Asia and the Pacific News Agencies (OANA) Dr. Ahmed Mukhlis, who is also Chairman of the Indonesian News Agency, extended congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in particular, for being chosen to host the 4th International Council for News Agencies scheduled for late 2013.
This came during an address yesterday at the beginning of the second session of the General Assembly of the organization currently taking place in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Later, Dr. Hilmi Benji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish News Agency (Anatolia), was selected Chairman of the new rotatory presidency of OANA replacing Dr. Mukhlis.
