South Korean President receives OANA's representatives of news agencies

On the sidelines of the conference of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), President Lee Myung-bak of the Republic of South Korea received here today representatives of OANA's news agencies and federations of news agencies which represented 41 countries, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that in turn was represented by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Awad, Director of News Department led the delegation of the SPA to OANA's conference, which concluded its meetings earlier her today.
The President of the Republic of South Korea welcomed the delegates, stressing the importance of further cooperation among the news agencies to provide a prompt and impartial news to the people.
